3. Still can't wear normal pants because of a healing hip laceration, but otherwise things are returning to close to normal. I can type with ten digits (albeit tentatively on 2 R fingers) and, better, write with a pen. Pacing myself!

4. Finally, 8 days after a bicycle accident, I am able to do a half-day of work. Ramping up early next week to full time as the last of the injuries heals.

15. It's pretty quiet around the office this Canada Day. Several internationals working though. I'm guessing all the Canadians are at home eating burgers...

16. Monday stuck at home for a workperson visit then to massage in late afternoon. Tuesday was at office all afternoon till after 8pm. Wednesday also all afternoon till after closing time. Plan to come in on Thursday and Friday anyway, despite it being a long weekend - I took a 3 day weekend chasing the anti-G20 protests already!

20. Today Thursday was very busy until 1pm at the hospital. The last hour of it was a high-level consult with a bona fide specialist in chronic pain, and the discussion was so interesting I had to spend the afternoon debriefing myself. Taking an epic nap cut out about 4 hours accidentally, too. Meh. Hope my sleep goes back to normal RIGHT NOW.
